Following a devastating family event, kung fu prodigy Li Fong is compelled to leave his Beijing home and relocate to New York City with his mother. When a friend requires his assistance, Li decides to participate in a karate tournament. However, his kung fu expertise isn’t sufficient on its own. To aid him, Li’s kung fu mentor, Mr. Han, seeks the guidance of the original Karate Kid, Daniel LaRusso. Together, they teach Li a novel fighting technique that combines both styles, setting the stage for an epic martial arts confrontation.
